Information for Parents

On this page you can find all the information regarding our Events Policy, Safety and Security. If you would like any further assistance or a question answering, please contact us.

Age Addmission Policy

Our Age Policy is 14-17 years of age. However, some of the events listed on our site are run by independent promoters where the age range can be 13-17. Please check your venue under the main menu for the correct entry age.

If your child attends any events listed on our site and they look young, please make sure they bring ID with them to the event as proof of age.

Unfortunately, we cannot admit anyone who is clearly under age as it is against our Policy (tickets are non-refundable). We will endeavour to contact the parents/guardians of the child to make sure they return home safely.

Alcohol and Drugs Policy

Alcohol and drugs are not tolerated.

At no time, at any event is alcohol served. All points of sale for alcoholic beverages are covered and only non-alcoholic soft drinks are on display.

None of the venues listed tolerate drunken patrons and if any are found to be inebriated, we will wherever possible contact their parents or guardian and ask them to collect the child or children. We will not turn away any patrons without making sure they are safe and that they can get home.

Cigarettes

We do not allow patrons in any venues to smoke cigarettes (as of the 1st October 2007 it is now illegal to sell cigarettes to anyone under the age of 18). At all venues, our policy is to turn off any cigarette machines so that cigarettes cannot be purchased. If you enter the venue with cigarettes, they will be confiscated upon entry.

Searches

Full searches are required with both the female and male Security staff. Clothing and bags of all patrons are searched on entry. Refusal to allow such searches will result in the refusal of entry to the venue.

Bullying and Bad Behaviour

All patrons are required to treat the venue and others with respect. All venues operate a very strict anti bullying policy and we ask all our patrons to treat the venue and others with respect.

If we discover any patrons intimidating others, pushing and shoving or attempting to jump the queue they will not gain entry. Also, if we discover any patrons fighting or using inappropriate language they will again be escorted out of the venue.

Disobedience

Any patron who disobeys venue rules will be removed from the venue and sent home. If it is a serious offence they will also be banned from attending any future events.

Exit Policy

At the end of each event we aim promote a quick, calm and quiet exit.

Dress Code

Dress code varies depending on the venue and promoter, but generally patrons are not allowed to wear caps or hooded tops, however, trainers and jeans are usually ok. If any patrons do have caps or hooded tops, they are asked to put them in the cloakroom by a member of staff. If they don't cooperate, we will refuse entry to the venue. Again as with all refusals we would contact their parents or guardian and ask them to collect the child or children. Please check your venue under the main menu for the correct dress code.

Filming and Photogaphs

Filming takes place at the majority of the events listed on our website (see Privacy Policy page for more details). Our in-house photographer also takes photographs at all events. All copyright is held with Clubdtv LTD.

Staff

Venue staff trained in counselling and facilitating are available for the duration of all Clubdtv.com(dance mayhem) events throughout the UK and will assist any patron with a problem. They are constantly on hand to investigate and resolve any problems or incidents that may arise during an event.

Although such scenes are few and far between Clubdtv.com pride ourselves in taking all precautions necessary to provide the safest event possible.

If you require information regarding the independent promoters listed on our site, please contact them directly. See Venues under the main menu.
